Wednesday 8/1
When we parked last night, we didn’t realize we were near the railroad tracks. We were awakened at 4 AM by a train in our bedroom. VERY loud. To recuperate, we slept until 10 this morning…then we drove a challenging 25 miles and crashed for the day. We are happily slothful with nothing more to report on this day except that we are camped tonight at the foot of Portage Glacier.
